Dwarves

Skilled craftsman and artisans, Dwarven work is appreciated by many. Dwarves hail from their ancestral homes in the northern peaks of the Wyrmwall mountains and for much of recorded history were content to stay there. The Dwarven city-state of Lodestone is a prosperous one and 200 years before the discovery of Ashcut, formally joined with the Negresti Empire after a protracted game of diplomacy and brinkmanship. By joining the empire, Lodestone gained access to the Kel River and the trade opportunities that it represents. In the 350 years that have followed, dwarves have spread out from their homelands are seen in much of Iolivus, though they are more common closer to Lodestone.
