Rakoi grow a child over the course of a decade, while growing a new Rakoi they must dedicate all of their time to protecting and nurturing the sprout. Because of the taxing and time consuming process of reproducing, most Rakoi live alone or in family groups; searching for a partner once they feel ready to reproduce.
