Kyle Kurt (a.k.a. Emerald Emperor)
Kyle Kurt’s grandfather was Vietnamese, and was an unfortunate victim of Operation Ranch Hand and Agent Orange during the Vietnam War. The toxic chemical not only crippled him, but left birth defects on both his son and grandson. When Kyle was ten, he went to visit his grandfather, and opened the door at the worst possible time: right when his grandfather was putting a gun into his mouth. Before Kyle could even process what he was seeing, it was already too late.
Kyle vowed from that day forth to ensure this could never happen again, and made it his mission to prevent wars from ever happening again. As time went on, he began to theorize that, due to the chaotic, unpredictable, and often violent nature of mankind, World Peace and Free Will could not coexist.
As Kyle grew older, his symptoms (Migraines, Vision problems, Balance problems, etc.) only got worse and worse, and he feared he might not survive, or worse, end up in equally as much pain as his grandfather. He first managed to alleviate the effects by seeing a specialist who designs Deathstalker augmentations, giving him cybernetic enhancements to normalize his life. The augmentations, however, didn’t affect all of his symptoms, and the ones they did help were only alleviated instead of cured. To further combat the effects, he managed to acquire an MG-Formula procedure.
Now with the power to manifest other’s greatest fears, and a body built like a tank, he donned the name Emerald Emperor, gathered allies to help him ensure World Peace, under the title of The Order of Masters.
