Ultimately serves as the frontline response to spiritual threats, such as hauntings, possessions, aggressive spirits/gods, and 'criminal' spirits.

Social Status

Since most spirits can cloak themselves from normal humans and aren't that common of an occurrence people don't see or believe in what the exorcist purpose or care for their existence. Most magi also view them as a rather suicidal to even consider going after spirits, which are pretty dangerous as a category 2 can topple a building and you can't even touch it.
