Tekem'Eshef Myth in Hijr | World Anvil

Tekem'Eshef

"He was the first born of the Dragon queen... a mighty primordial dragon of fire and storm. He was the ruin of many Uldoth cities until he was struck down... Some say his remains still lie buried under the Greyweld Mountains..." - Legend of the first dragons

Summary

In the distant past, before the disappearance of the Firstfolk, there was the Dragon Queen. She grew tired of having nothing of her own on the world, and birthed a son, a mighty enforcer to help her carve away a part of the world to be her own. While no physical evidence of this mythical creature remains, legend tells that Tekem'Eshef was the terror of his day. Once the Firstfolk fled the world, their offspring the Uldoth were left to battle him alone.   After destroying innumerable cities, he was finally felled by the Uldoth after they massed the largest fleet of flying vehicles ever seen (most of whom were destroyed in the battle) and focusing all of their martial power upon him. His bones were said to be plated in lead to keep him from returning, and he was then buried deep inside the earth.   Once Tekem'Eshef was slain, his mother created numerous other primordial dragons of lesser power to continue wreaking havoc among the mortal races. He was the first born dragon, but cerainly not the last.
