Shellet

This deep red stemmed and leafed plant grows well in temperate, rainy forests. While it's leaves are edible, it is typically used as a spice in cooking, rather than a dish on it's own. It's light lemony scent and flavor are often added to more savory dishes to add variety in cooking from the southern continent. In addition to it's use in cooking, it is also an ingredient in select medicinal and narcotic creations.
