Spectre

Spectres are beings that are neither living nor dead, brought body and soul into another dimension known as the Fields of Serenity after an event that would normally have killed them. They are then sent back to their home mortal world, usually in a suit of all-covering armor that cannot be removed, devoid of the need to eat, sleep, or the like. They are gifted divine weapons of light energy that function like regular weapons, with the exception that they can be summoned and banished at will by the spectre. They cannot truly die and pass on to the realm beyond until they complete an unfinished task. Beings usually become spectres when they willfully leave an oath or promise unfulfilled. However, the rules for who becomes a spectre and who does not are not entirely understood.   Base Combat Stats:

Armor of Choice: Spectral Armor +6 HP
Starting Skill Slots:
Wolf of Light Generates a Spectral Wolf to fight at your side; 10 HP, 5 DMG; Cannot summon another unless first is destroyed.
Javelin of Light Sends a Spectral Javelin into the Target for double the damage of your damage dice
Glimpse of Eternity Stuns an enemy for 1 turn as they view a glimpse of the Fields of Serenity
Basic Skill Tree:
  Spectre's Unfinished Task:   - Unfulfilled Promise of Protection: A being that was charged with protecting someone, someplace, or something and yet moved on to the Fields of Serenity while neglecting their duty of protection. Sent back into the mortal realm of High Million, such a Spectre will not be able to proceed on to the afterlife until they have successfully protected their charge as they would have as a full mortal.
- Lv.1 Specialization Skill - Spectral Strength:
+2 Strength in all matters.   - Unfulfilled Promise of Justice: A being that moved on to the Fields of Serenity after allowing a grave injustice to occur. Perhaps someone's name needs to be cleared. Perhaps someone needs to die for their deeds. Only after justice is served in the unfinished matter can such a Spectre move on to the afterlife.
- Lv.1 Specialization Skill - Spectral Intimidation:
+2 Charisma through intimidation in all matters.   - Unfulfilled Promise of Service: A being that was charged with serving a cause, leader, or people and yet moved on to the Fields of Serenity having betrayed those they were supposed to serve. Only after the betrayal has been repaid with faithful service can such a Spectre continue on to the afterlife.
