Carovingia

Carovingia was a large country on the continent of Elbid , and the closest nation there to the island of Albion .
It suffered for nearly two hundred years of civil war after the schisms that drove apart the Church. The country split and remerged and split again. Finally, thirty years ago, they agreed to a reunification under the last Scion of the old Royal Family. He was accepted by all, was religiously tolerant, and frankly everyone was sick of the constant wars.
This scion later became The Little Dragon. He spent twenty years preparing Carovingia for a war of conquest, quietly moving anyone who would oppose him into positions of irrelevance (or into graves).
After the Dragon wars, Carovingia was divided into four parts. The south-western portion of the country is controlled and occupied by Albion, and is called Arvoringia . The north-western quarter (Garwolin) and the north-eastern quarter (Abrova) are controlled by governments closely allied to Albion, but the the south-eastern section (Carinthia) is controlled by Muntenia, which is allied with the Mu Confederation, and ruled by Mircea Basarab V.
