Shield of Dol-Amroth

The rim of the shield is inscribed along the metal rim in Quenya, commanding the shield remain whole when it would otherwise shatter (but this will probably work only once). Otherwise, the shield provides the wielder with +15 to their defence.
The shield is imbued with the essence of magic and as such is detectable to those with the appropriate spells, skills or abilities.
Significance
The shield was manufactured for the Prince of Dol-Amroth, but was never delivered having become lost in transit.
The shield is manufactured from specially selected wood, covered in unblemished leather, and rimmed in ritually crafted Iron. It has the arms of Dol-Amroth (pictured) embossed and painted on its surface - said painting neither being amenable to removal nor being painted over.
