Prior to being revived, Robin is skilled in hand to hand combat. He is also a powered human who possesses telekinesis, and he studies some necromantic magic.

After being revived, Robin loses some of his physical strength. However, he now has a closer tie to the necromantic magics, which allows him to become a powerful caster. His research into elemental and other enamist magics also gives him an advantage in battle against ORG forces.
While wielding the sword of Envy, Robin can shapeshift and mimic the powers of others.

Personal history

Robin Umbra was born in Southern England in the year 1990. His family moved often for his parents’ jobs. Robin initially joined the ORG in 2008, only a month after his mother’s death. It seemed for a while that he had found some direction with ORG.   Then the enamist crisis reached its peak, and everything fell apart. Robin started closing himself off again. He was eventually able to come back from that, relying on a much smaller friend group.

In 2018, Robin Umbra joined the then still secret necromancy cult. The cult made promises to help bring back the friends and family Umbra lost to the Enamist.
When Jett first joined ORG, Robin and him quickly became friends. Robin acted as a mentor to Jett throughout the years. After Team Resolute was formed, Umbra worked with them on many of their earlier adventures.

At the same time, he was feeding information to the necromancers and sabotaging missions. He did try everything in his power to protect Team Resolute, especially Jett.

When the necromancers planned to launch their attack on the ORG base in mid 2020, Robin risked betraying them to get Jett and Victoria clear of the base. This backfired when Jett caught on and followed him back. Robin fought Jett and Teo in the hospital wing, but escaped capture. He remained unwilling to kill Jett, and instead pursued Cassie with the intention of injuring her so she wouldn’t have to be killed. (the next section is a double spoiler, reader beware)

When Robin goes to attack Cassie, she strikes back with elemental magic, revealing that she has been an enamist double agent this entire time. She kills Robin, who is last seen falling off the cliff into the atlantic ocean.

Robin is rescued and revived by the necromancer cult. His experiences during the necromancer attack have firmly turned him against the ORG. He remained hesitant to harm Victoria and Jett, and initially he held back for Teo too. Once Jett called Teo his best friend in front of Robin, he started to see Teo as his main enemy.

Robin continued to fight for the necromancy cult throughout their downfall. He aided ORG forces against the enamist on occasion, but was still antagonistic towards them. During the second artifact crisis, he is the second to wield the sword of envy. His envy of Teo, who was the previous wielder, allows him to be very powerful. Fortunately, his reign is short lived.
