Naomi is a powered human who can absorb and redirect kinetic energy, as well as scry. She also knows many rare and dangerous forms of magic, which make her a very unpredictable foe.

Personal history

Naomi Enami is a very mysterious figure in the history of the HCU. She was born in Japan, most likely between the years 1975 and 1985. While many theorize she was born in or near Osaka, the only evidence of this is the final, failed ritual of the first Enami crisis.   At some point, Naomi began studying rare magical forms, many of which she eventually mastered. It is unknown where she got this information, since several of the forms she used aren’t even recognised by the ORG.
Sometime between 2000 and 2005, Naomi set out to find disciples. She met Jennette Alexander in Yoann King in Germany, and they became the first members of her inner circle.
Between 2005 and 2009, Naomi and her enamists grew in number and power. They began to threaten local governments and militaries, and generally caused trouble. The years described as the Enamist Crisis (late 2006 - early 2009) saw many violent confrontations between Enamists and ORG.
Eventually, the ORG tracked Enami to a warehouse in Osaka, Japan. Enami and her inner circle were there, trying to complete a powerful ritual. When the ritual was interrupted by the ORG attack, all the participating casters were cursed. Enami and her supporters fought hard, but the majority of them were ultimately arrested or killed.
Enami was sentenced to life in prison for international terrorism. She served over a decade of that sentence at a maximum security magic prison in the pacific, before breaking out following the cure ritual performed by Jennette and Yoann.
After being freed, Enami rebuilt her inner circle and continued her research, eventually releasing kharastic and starting the Artifact Crisis.
