Saddlebag Harness

A specially designed harness designed for Dragons (or pretty much any other creature that has wings located on its back) to carry goods much like a backpack that humanoids would wear.
It features plenty of clearance around the wings to not interfere with flying, with many pockets and compartments distributed around the harness so that heavy goods can be load balanced if needed. The various pockets and compartments also are secured in such a way that even aggressive movement would not cause secured items from being disloged or ejected from the harness. 
Putting on such a harness does take some time, but can be easily done by the wearer in about a minutes time, or quicker with the help with a suitably tall enough helper.
Also, while most of these harnesses are custom tailored for their owner, another user of suitable size and build could wear it. Though not as snugly as its owner.

Raw materials & Components

Most saddlebag harnesses are of reinforced leather construction, with heavy canvas belts with iron or steel fibers sewn into the straps to strengthen the load capacity. Though there are some that are entire metal construction, or exotic materials such as mythril for performance purposed ones.
