Necromancy is Morbid
General Summary
Moving ahead we immediately find a library with the QUASIT searching for a book or object hidden among the stacks.
We all rush in but Tilly is the first to damage it with Woofie scrambling below the demon while it's perched out of his reach on a bookshelf. The QUASIT focuses his eyes on a specific item, which we probably want to stop him from getting his hands on. I position myself so that if something is disturbed on the table, hopefully I'm able to destroy it before it's useful to him.
Woofie sniffs the air, trying to track the now invisible demon and manages to point out where the thing is hovering above the table and Bork slashing wilding, bisecting the creature.
The book is wrapped in dessicated skin and the lock has flakes of 'red paint' although no apparent physical means to open it. Agol gleans that the lock needs a drop of blood to open. He opens it and we flip to the bookmark, filled with Necromancy spells and lots of rituals that may be able to transform a living creature into an undead with their mind intact.
Just then the sorcerer from upstairs calls for his familiar and we head upward. Neremyn gestures for Bork to move into the creepy bedroom and he mimics the quasit by saying "I've got your book master!"
Battle commenses and the Necromancer casts Greater Thunderstomp, which knocks Agol and Tilly on their asses. Unfortunately he follows that up with a Fear spell and Neremyn is affected, forcing me to flee from battle. Thankfully Tilly brought her Flaming Sphere and Woofie stayed close enough to the Necromancer to keep him from using too many of his ranged attacks.
