Attempt to Adventure!

General Summary

Returning from our five year break...   The city has grown a lot over this time.   Tilly frees many new squirrelfolk and a lot of them move to Hero City to join the militia, which now all have firearms training.   Flower met Rissa's family, who broke her memories wide open and Rissa realizes that she's both Flower and Rissa! She continues to work with the ratfolk in Novis Terram but can't convince them to leave the Novis Terram.   Samguise continues trying to launch a musical carrier while begining a family with a local woman and has two children; a son and daughter. Samguise finally comes out as a goblin, the son of a goblin royalty who fled his responsibilites.   Freyja works with Sapphire the local jewelry to train and refine the creation of local magical items. She learned how to do some magical tricks from her wife, Twig the dryad.   Bork Borque spent thier time also breeding. He has coupled with anothe dryad, Branch, and they have two children. He spent a lot of time patroling the area around Hero City to keep it safe. Bork also encouraged Obad the potion maker to move into the city and open a shop where we can now purchase actual healing poitons!   Sapphire retells us the history of Hero City, telling us about the troll ambush - her magic wasn't enough to save them all, and when she awoke from the fray, the gemstone was chipped. She would love it if we could find the broken piece.   Eli Whitney also draws some attention while enjoying the evening. He starts ranting about getting Hero City free of the oversight of Novis Terram. He knows he needs to be recognized as nobility by marrying into royalty and starts ranting about how tyrannical their rules are and would love to meet a spouse.   Soren, Karenalia's exhusband, joins us, too. They're expanding his district with some new tennents and a little 'camping' area.   I recall that the civilization living in the area I was searching for tech had a royal bloodline but it was a very long time ago - I need to figure out how to power their technology.  
  We decide to head out, but moments after hitting the road pins fall right out of our cartwheels and we have the track them down. Turns out one of Brick's carbuncles is stealing dumb metal objects and trying to make townsfolk do foolish things.   After witnessing several strange accidents around the tavern, Bork asks Graham about Giver since the tavern was quiet and we couldn't hear him working at his anvil. Evenually we make it down to his workship and find him unconscious under an armor rack! We get him out and Rissa heals him a bit before we find a large crack near his furnace that leads to a rocky stone cavern.
