Maverick

The term for a hero that happens to be non-powered. Instead of powers, they rely on gadgets, armour, physical fitness and martial arts to do their jobs. Oftentimes they have a power echo they rely on in some way. Before the Vanishing, mavericks who happened to be echoes were called 'super mavericks' though that term has since been generally replaced with 'paragon'.
Non-powered individuals who instead commit crimes and fight against heroes and Icarus are usually just called 'villains', 'non-powered villains' or 'tech villains'.
