Holy Roman Empire

The Holy Roman Empire is a union of multiple political and theological factions under a single leader. The Kingdom of Germany] - under it the German Princedoms, as well as the Kingdoms Lombardy, and Burgandy are weded to the Kingdoms of Italy, and the The Roman-Catholic Church - devided into the Germanic and Italian churches, as well as countless subfactions. The church is unified under The Pope, as explicit messanger of God, and the Kingdoms are united by the strength of an Emperor, who is given spiritual athority by the Pope's blessing. Thus the Church is granted leave of worldly afairs, yet remains the moral backbone of the Emperors athority.
