Flodhammland^{(Country of Islands)} is a small archipelago first settled in 53NE by a group of settlers that have become known as the Folksény^{(Sea People)}. The Folksény are all Human, and to this day Flódhammland still remains a very inclusive culture. Their abrasive nature towards outsiders makes any ideas of settling there a bad idea. Although there are a few unsettled Islands in the area nobody has tried to settle them. The Folksény enjoy the warmer climate of the 3 more Northern Islands. There are 5 Islands in the Flódhammland. The 3 settled Islands of Jarkarsta, Skart and Asgot and two unamed Islands with a colder, tundra climate.

Weather in Flódhammland

The 2 more Southern Islands of Flódhammland experience a winter that lasts for 7 months while the sun is mostly north of the equator. The harshest of this winter can reach temperatures beyond -40C. The Asgot and Skart's winters last a more average 3 - 4 months, with lowest temperatures reaching up to -10C and Jarkarsta's winter also lasting around 3 - 4 months reaches 0C.

History of Flódhammland

Settled in 53NE by sailors from Tatam. The original settler fleet was led by the renowned adventurer Hant Kun. Known for his discovery of Dark Era ruins in 41NE. Although never explored futher Hant Kun had originally planned to explore the ruined settlement. Instead decided to find new lands to the West. His idea to do this took place in 50NE, inspired by the discovery of the ruins previously he was ambitious in his belief that he may find futher settlements West, and perhaps people within them. Instead He found an ideal location for settlement, capitalising on this rich location he returned to Tatam to spread the news and to gather supplies and families to settle in the new lands. This voyage took place in 52NE. 11 Ships left Tatam and 8 made it to the new land. 3 of these ships were lost to the World Swallower, after being blown further south by a storm the fleet missed the destination island of Jarkarsta. After realising his location Hant Kun changed direction to North, past the World Swallower and arriving on the island of Asgot.
