Limber-Mouth Furo

Long, slender crocodile-sized creatures. Their top jaw overhangs their lower jaw, and their gum is muscular and extremely prehensile, allowing each individual fang to act as an additional limb. They hunt small and medium sized lizaris and Corvidon eggs through the steep crags of Western Hell. They are primarily solitary creatures, and only congregate to reproduce. The harsh, vertical environment precludes permanent dens, so young are carried in the mother’s pouch.   They have been tamed and used as mounts by demons since the early Morningstar era. Scouts and guerilla fighters favor them. Taming a Furo is tricky, as they can never be “broken”; a handler must work in tandem with the creature’s natural curious, prey-seeking tendencies to guide them towards the desired action.
