Viikki Megaplex
Viikki Megaplex is the biggest single structure of Helsinki. The towering structure houses hundreds of thousands of people and a countless number of service providers. The megaplex aims to be completely self-sufficient and is powered by its own nuclear reactor. The megaplex is located in the middle of the lowlands of Viikki flooded by the rising sea.
The megaplex has also attracted other businesses in the region but the contrast between the megaplex and the surrounding lower buildings is stark. The Megaplex is owned and run by a corporation called Quadpoint and also works as the Finnish headquarters of the company.
The megaplex has its own laws and regulations defined by the Quadpoint corporation. Also the police and many other public services are provided by the Quadpoint.
