Kontula
Kontula is a suburban district located in the eastern part of Helsinki. It is a densely populated area, with a mix of residential buildings and commercial centers. The district is known for its vibrant religious center, which attracts people from all over the city. The religious activity in Kontula is diverse, ranging from traditional Christian churches to more unconventional groups with transhumanist or animalistic beliefs.
However, the district is facing an impending doom. A few years ago, there was a massive explosion in the nearby Länsisalmi district, which destroyed the eastern parts of the city and turned them into ruined wastelands. The explosion also released radioactive and poisonous pollution into the soil, which is slowly spreading towards Kontula. The residents of the district are living in constant fear of the contamination, and many have already left their homes to avoid the danger.
Despite the looming threat, the religious center in Kontula remains a hub of activity. The various groups continue to hold their meetings and events, even as the surrounding environment becomes more and more dangerous. Some of the groups have even taken on a more apocalyptic tone, seeing the contamination as a sign of the end times.
As the situation worsens, the residents of Kontula must decide whether to stay and fight for their community, or to flee in search of safety elsewhere. But for those who choose to stay, the religious center remains a beacon of hope, offering comfort and solace in a world that seems to be on the brink of collapse.
