Kingdom of Kadri

Home of the legendary alchemist and the great mage kings of Kadri, their influence could once be felt all cross Kathlam, as one of the greatest mage cities in all the lands, but years of conflict with Fahdarm, saw it’s powers weaken. The desperate wars it fought saw it give out greater and greater means and wealth to its mage guilds in order to improve the production of their potions and turn the war effort, but too late that the great kings realize that the guilds had grown too powerful to control, their authority was no longer absolute and for the guilds to obey privileges had to be given, and now the great kings must confer with guild council, it is a careful balance the city must adhere to, no one guild can outdo another, and the king cannot outdo the guilds.
