Unstable chimera
Chimera which are infused with too many different parts or too much magic, may find that the host body refuses prober integration creating these hulking mutating beasts of a chimera. Such creatures have few uses outside war beasts and the occasional arena spectacle. But it does possess an industrial usage exploited by the more scrupulous mages, for in the belly of such creatures the pure arcane forces at work are overcharged creating crystalline cysts which are imbued with magical powers which are excellent for the creation of wands and staffs alike.
