Stub Tail
Stub Tails are generally solitary creatures, they can find roaming the desert for what scares food can be scavenged. They subsist mainly on harsh roots they can claw up with their snout of front legs, but they are opportunistic carnivores, so travelers would do well not to approach without good reason.

The Scales of the Stub Tail are sought after by alchemists as it is a key ingredient in making potions of stone skin, and essential in imbuing items with physical resistances. Its tongue and feelers as well are sought, but for the purposes of creating potions that enable the imbiber, its extrasensory effects, enabling them blindsenes momentarily.
Though its horns and sensory organs are sought by artificers, for if the ground and treated together it is possible to derive or enhances divining abilities, making them essential for divination rituals and magical items which utilize such effects, e.g: divining rods
