Starstrike Training Academy of Racial and Societal Tolerance to Reduce Ideological Kerfuffles Emerging

Created by one of the founders of the City of Helstav, the Starstrike Training Academy of Racial and Societal Tolerance to Reduce Ideological Kerfuffles Emerging, or STARSTRIKE for short, was formed to bridge the gap between Elves and Dwarves, as well educate, inform and spark new ideas for the future of Helstav and for the relationship between the two races. The Academy has since grown to include other races, forming a bridge between the different cultures and promoting the ideology that we all have something to offer.
Though it's started as an organization aimed at improving interracial relations, STARSTRIKE has since expanded over the years, to also include a general education to any and all, and a branch that's more fighting-oriented has recently been developed. This is Helstav's equivalent to the College of Swords. Some of the retired adventurers are teaching for example fighting, in exchange for reimbursement.
In general, STARSTRIKE has branched out from just teaching people diplomacy and how to stab stuff, to general education like literature and politics. Trying to avoid any sort of connection with STARSTRIKE is a bit like walking around New York and trying to avoid Starbucks.

Structure

There’s a principal, a vice-principal, and a gubernatorial board. There’s professors on many subjects, though STARSTRIKE leaves teaching magic to the three magic academies in Helstav.

Public Agenda

To bridge the gap between races through learning each other's strengths and weaknesses, and then using that knowledge to carve out a better future for all. To teach the future generations about the past and how to learn from one’s mistakes. To provide a solid education for all who are willing to learn (and can afford housing).

Assets

STARSTRIKE has a free budget of about a quarter million gold, a castle which is the single largest building in Helstav, which also features a huge library with an assortment of books, and various weapons.

STARSTRIKE was founded in 6943 BR by Avae’ess Elladyr, after the terrible monster had been imprisoned once again.
