Raqaba Council

This council rules over Ashak with both the Prime Minister of Ashak and the Prince of Ashak as its figureheads. The Prince does not play an active part in the politics of the city but his seal of approval is required for any law to be changed or decree to be given.

13 members including the Prince of Ashak and the elected Prime Minister. Their assets include all the assets of the city itself.

History

Created when the Emperor Valtyv fell and Mazteca required new leadership. They formed a new leadership, a mixture of the old way of royalty and the Emperors way of a council. The council were given the power to vote on and pass laws but the Prince of Ashak (and consequently of Mazteca) must give the royal seal to any laws or they cannot be passed.
