Magus Princeps Tyranus
Magus Princeps Tyranus is a Gnome, a rare creature found all across the continent in low numbers. Tyranus is chief of the Imperial Mage College and so commands a lot of power within the region, second only to the High Imperator. Tyranus has studied and perfected magic over the course of centuries and has few equals in the arts of the arcane, none in the art of conjuration. His equals are Lucius of the Shieldlands (Master of Transmutation), Corvus of Grecia (Master of Divination) and Archdruid Xatlio (Master of Druidic Magic).
Tyranus has mastered the art of conjuration magic by traversing different planes, ensuring he has a vast knowledge of the creatures that he would summon to the material plane. He is not ambitious for power but for knowledge, the power just comes as a positive byproduct of his vast knowledge. Tyranus rules the Imperial Mages but tends to leave a lot of the day to day running of the College to his immediate subordinates, who made the College into the ruthless school it is today. Tyranus maintains strong friendship with the High Imperator and they regularly meet to discuss their interests and studies and so Tyranus can advise on any possible extra-planar threats.
