These birds spend much of their time far out at sea, where they are expert fishers, diving gracefully into the ocean to catch fish. The cliffs provide the perfect vantage point for launching their long flights, and they are rarely seen near human settlements.

Behaviour

The Ulmathren is a solitary bird, spending most of its life flying over the open ocean. It is known for its endurance, capable of flying for days without landing, and its ability to navigate long distances with ease. These birds are expert fishers, catching their prey far out at sea, often diving from great heights to spear fish with their sharp beaks. Though generally aloof and independent, the Ulmathren returns to its nesting grounds during the breeding season, where it forms strong bonds with its mate.

Geographic Distribution

The Ulmathren is found along the coasts of Remon and the Seynan Islands, where it nests on steep cliffs overlooking the ocean. While their nesting sites are confined to these regions, they travel vast distances across the Gamanaean Ocean, often disappearing for long periods during their migratory journeys.
