Telan Karth

Telan Karth, now a crumbling ruin nestled within the wilds of Daros, stands as a silent witness to the tumultuous history of the island. Once a proud tower overseeing the eastern shores, it was shattered during the violent conflict between the Realm of Forbin and the forces of Teros. It was here that Marak III, King of Teros, led his armies in a decisive assault to wrest control of the island from Forbin’s grasp, marking a turning point in the struggle between the two powers.   The battle that unfolded at Telan Karth was fierce and unrelenting. Magic clashed with steel as both sides fought for dominance, and the tower itself bore the brunt of the conflict. When it fell, it was said that many powerful relics were lost amid the rubble, but none were as prized as the fabled Helm of Mornathis. Crafted by Forbin’s greatest enchanters, this helm was imbued with potent magic to ward off charms and illusions, providing its wearer with near-immunity to enchanting spells.   Now, the ruins of Telan Karth are a place of both intrigue and danger. The shattered stones and broken walls are overgrown with vines and shrubs, their once-proud form reduced to a twisted skeleton of what once stood. Despite numerous expeditions, the Helm of Mornathis has never been found, leading many to speculate that it lies buried deep within the ruins, hidden by the lingering enchantments of the battle.
