Tarmon's Gate

Tarmon's Gate is a fort in the Penstrarn Hills. It guards the road between Kunkana and Penstrarn.
The fort is built into a narrow cleft in the hills, and in its great archway a mighty portcullis can be lowered to close the road. Above the arch is built a tall rampart, and at the western end of this sits a strong tower.
