Sindir and Sindatt

Sindir and Sindatt are noble titles used in the League of Mar Miskun and the Mar Mabon Townships. They are relics from the time of the Thalissian Empire.
The highest rank of nobility, the titles of Sindir (male) and Sindatt (female) are accorded the highest honours. As no monarch exists, the title is no longer conferred, and so remains only in the very oldest and most powerful families.
The spouse of a Sindir may use the title Sindatt, and vice versa.
The title is inherited. All living children of a Sindir or Sindatt may use the title Sindir-Lar (males) or Sindatt-Lar (females), while the nominated heir may use the title Sindir-Farus or Sindatt-Farus as appropriate.
A Sindir or Sindatt is addressed as "your Magnificence", while their spouse or children are addressed as "your Lordship" or "your Ladyship".
