Oathsday

The first day of the month of Oathing marks the gifting of the world to its people by the gods, and this is marked in the renewal of oaths of loyalty.

Common people visit temples and swear fealty to both the gods and to their masters, lords, and kings. In return for this sworn loyalty, leaders gift food and drink (as well as a day off) to their people.
People take to the streets, with food, games, and dancing. At the day draws to a close, families gather for a final meal and affirm their own bonds of loyalty.
