Bloodshores

Migrating whales pass through the Seynan Islands during Fairsky, and islanders hunt them as they pass. The festival of Bloodshores honours the hunters for their catches, and thanks Jires for the sea's bounty. It occurs on the third Seasday of Fairsky.
Hunting boats sail out from the harbour before dawn, and as the sun comes up, musicians line the shore and play lively tunes to welcome the hunters as they return. The community then gathers for feasting and drinking into the evening.
