Stone (Currency)

The Stone is the main form of currency used all across the Heimland. Stones were first made from scraps of metal. One Stone is worth $6. The most expensive items are normally about 2000-3000 Stone. Stones have been used since 1 AE, currencies known as "Dollars" were used before by the Old Folk; today one Stone is worth six Dollars. Stones are normally stored in banks or chests by rich folk. Common people use Stones the most, with some of the other races typically relying on barter-system.

Manufacturing process

Each individual Stone is first cast by pouring a molten metal, a mix of copper, electrum and silver, into a cavity formed by two molds. These were then usually die-struck while still hot, first on just one side, and then later on the two sides through a process of hitting a hammer positioned over an anvil.
