Highland Auroch

Friend of the farmer

The Highland Aurochs (North Wythian: Hachlind-Auerochsen) are a large Northwythian breed of domesticated cattle. Originating in rural Northwythe and prominent since the Pre-Imperial Era, they have since become a staple of Wythian farmsteads throughout the northern subcontinent. They are most commonly raised as livestock for meat, milk, and hides, although they are also often used as riding and draft animals - particularly in the rocky highlands surrounding the Hangeschön (from whence they derive their name).
