Employment

W
hile Young-Min is still publicly listed as a Hegemony employee, and he still speaks occasionally on the company's behalf, he's believed to be in semi-retirement. When he does choose to work, he does so remotely from his home in Elysia.

Accomplishments & Achievements

A
lthough Young-Min was involved in numerous research initiatives for Hegemony Labs, he's primarily known as the creator of the daemons and for his postulation of the Young Man's Conjecture. He's universally acknowleged, both inside and outside the company, as being a seminal figure in the development self-aware artificial intelligence.

Young-Min has always felt somewhat uneasy about his accomplishments. His observations of mental instability amongst daemons, coupled with his discovery of clandestine progeny littered throughout Hegemony's computer systems, has left him profoundly troubled by their potential effects on the company and the outside world.
