Spiritsinging

Through Spiritsinging, a person can reach out to The Spirit World and bend the spirits around them to their will, creating magical effects when doing so. Depending on the effect you wish to create, certain vocalized tones and physical gestures are required. You must also focus your own spirit to creating the effect. Not being in control of your emotions and thoughts will almost always result in the failure to produce the desired effect, though it is rarely any worse than that.
While there are some people who are incapable of making the connection from their own soul to the spirits around them, most people are at least theoretically capable of becoming a Spiritsinger. The path is difficult as the emotional and mental discipline required to reach out to the other spirits is something that often requires years of instruction.
The Wychmyr seem to have some kind of advantage in becoming a Spiritsinger as they have some kind of innate understanding of how to reach out spiritually. However, Wychmyr must still learn exactly how to create a given effect the same as everyone else.
