Myrnth Fruit

The fruit of a plant which can only be grown by members of Clan Myrnth. It has an extremely long shelf life of ten Earth-years even when unrefrigerated. It can be eaten by any species has a soul. It has a sweet flavor. When being digested it can shift its chemical composition to provide whatever nutrients are most needed to that individual (within some limitations).
The Myrnth Fruit can be used to replace most other foods in a person's diet, but should not be seen as the sole food in that diet. However, it is very fickle about which environments it will grow in, even with Clan Myrnth's talent for agriculture.
It is in the shape of a star with eight points and is usually six inches long and about three inches wide. Its similar in texture to an apple, both inside and out.
