Coming from a magically adept heritage, Gale quite easily was able to be accepted into a prestigious school of magic. In particular, the school where one 'Isaac Vesmir' taught. She excelled at this class, and quickly made herself invaluable to him thanks to her ability to commune with the magic residing natural elements. Finally, she got what she wanted, and became his assistant/apprentice.
