The March of Progress

Viridia has accelerated in its progress with metallurgy, magic, alchemy and natural sciences at a faster rate in the last hundred years than almost any other period. Gunpowder, new mechanics and devices are being forged at greater capacities in developing manufactories, causing a gradual shift in the shape of societies with advances in farming technology allowing for increased urbanisation. However, not all are pleased with these changes, fearing a godless, soulless society caked in the smoke of furnaces.
