Fenrath, the Dire Wolf
In the brush near your camp, you can't help but notice a twig breaking a few feet away in the treeline. Surely no creature big enough to be a threat could get this close, yet something seems off. As you turn to investigate, you see a pair of dark, piercing red eyes and hear the hungered breath of a beast. The creature is 10 feet long easily and its matted fur has the look of dried blood. As you make eye contact, the figure slowly steps back, fading into the brush. You keep watching, waiting for it to return, but it seems the creature left. What could it have been? What was it after?

Personality

Fenrath is stern most of the time. Occaisionally, adventurers have found him on a day of rest and they almost always claim that he was a wise and fair individual.Heart
Fenrath simply wants what's best for the whole of the animals in the forest. If they were all strong enough to fight, he would be happy to simply observe the wilds as a caretaker as opposed to a hunter."You dare talk to me like this? After you babied the weak and fed the poor? How will they learn without pain? And if they were to die, they deserve nothing less!"
