Ryahd
Half-Asir
Ryahd are the hardy and capable offspring of the Asir and Demi, losing some of the intricacies of their parents’ specialized ears and seasonal adaptation, but maintaining a sturdier frame and flexible mind.
While they still sprout short fur and have slightly pointed ears, the Ryahd are not quite as covered as their Asir parents nor are their ears as obvious. In fact, with a bit of work Ryahd have an easier time passing for demi.
They are most plentiful in Ryahda, a large island at furthest eastern point beyond the Alsan Caliphate, but are found in many areas of Turchian cultural influence.
Ryahd display so many tendencies of their parent races that it can be difficult not to see them as their own people instead of children of two worlds. While hybrid races often chafe at being seen as derivative of others, Ryahd more often than not find this to simply be a fact and not something to feel bad about.
They are curious and insightful, adaptive and ambitious, and everything in between. However, they, like many Asir, severely dislike their heritage to be assumed. Those of Turchian descent might feel pride at being recognized, but any others assumed to hail from the Alsani lands might just sour on your presence completely.
Ryahd are humanoids with the triaxian and human subtypes.
