Hebido

Half-Hido

These medium-height, red or gray-skinned humanoids have bright orange or red iris and coarse black hair. Typically just slightly shorter than humans with more leanly packed muscle. Along with this, they sport grayish or reddish skin of muted pigment.   Hebido have angular, stark features and sharp pointy canines. The offspring of hido and demi blending over many years until their rare offspring became exponentially more common. They are the majority in the Yamoto culture and as easy to find as any Yarada in Hoyoko.   Swords and ancestral weapon techniques are often passed down among their people. Those who are not raised in these traditions often find the skill at forging weaponry and shouting down annoying customers to come naturally.   Hebido can sometimes be seen as condescending or lofty in their dispositions and often see themselves as important to any process they involve themselves with.   This does not come from simple arrogance, but from dedication to a craft and confidence that the work will pay off.   Those with Yarada heritage nearly always have stark black hair and if this is their ruling culture, they wear it in intricate styles, often braided or pulled into dreads. Those with more disporate heritage often take many features from their demi or other parents, though it's almost as if they exhibit a "concentrated" version of those features.
