Tartarus is the empire's major mining planet. It is massive, equivalent to our realities Jupiter, and the whole thing is rich in metallic resources. This has led many people to this planet hoping to strike it rich in the mining industry. People from all walks of life come to Tartarus. However it is mostly the poor, and those who are down on their luck with nowhere else to turn. The entire planet is covered in black smoke, ash, and grease. It is unbearably hot, and the atmosphere is filled with poisonous oily smoke due to excessive mining.
Hel is the empire's prison planet. Almost anyone who commits major crimes against the empire ends up here. The planet has a strong military force due to its large cluster of dangerous individuals. Those who prove themselves not dangerous are able to work in the nearby mine on Tartarus, reducing their sentence.
