Hartstein

Hartstein is a continent climbing to new heights in techonology and adaptation of magic like a mountaineer scaling a rugged peak. The wars of the past have been pushed aside, and most of the people live in peace putting their energy into advancements to make everyone's lives easier. However, as the people climb towards progress's light, they forget the shadows lurking behind them. Many unexplained phenomena have been occurring, often with tragic results, and soon, the things in the shadows may escape and unleash chaos and carnage that rivals past conflicts. With eyes so afixed on the future, the people of Hartstien should be awarelest the sins of the past drag them tumbling back down the heights they've surpassed.   The continent is mostly inhabited by strong Korovykyans, agile satyrs, and cunning humans; however, there are tales of hidden beings like enshadowed vampires and secluded forest-dwellers as well as recent contact with other lands where other societies live. Mountains, forests, hills, and plains cover most the land, and a chilly tundra lies in the far north.
