Episode Five: The Dark Descent

General Summary

A deserted campsite and abandoned diaries were all that greeted our lost children when they found the digsite. It had been abandoned for days at least and all the evidence suggested that the camp's inhabitants had gone below, into the silver mine. Seeking survivors or else confirmation of death, our trio descended into the earth where they discovered a makeshift lab that had been set up to study a novel red mineral. Attempts to decifer the notes that were left behind lead Artie to conclude that whoever was working was researching how to create a Netherstone or else a philosopher's stone. Descending deeper, the party encountered a mass of living and dead bodies moving in consort which they now must face in combat.
