Guild of Arcane Lore

In order to protect magicians from unfounded accusations of witchcraft, and protect the public from the misdeeds of rogue practitioners of magick, the Guild of Arcane Lore was formed. The guild's purview includes all those practitioners of the esoteric and arcane arts such as; alchemists, arcanists, astrologers, mages, psionicists, diviners, and sorcerers, etc.

The Guild of Arcane Lore is a loose association of members, it grants no franchises and has no formal governing body. However, the guild does require its members to adhere to a strict code of conduct. Those who fail to adhere to the code may be declared Renegade and if they fail to repent, may be hunted down and killed

The Guild of Arcane Lore operates a number of chantries or places of study, typically dedicated to a specific magical principle. These chantries offer places to stay, libraries and allow scholars of the esoteric arts to pursue their studies free of outside interference.
