LIGHTING
BRIGHT LIGHT
Virtually all light sources produce bright light, and even "gloomy" daytime environments are still considered bright. Sight is normal in bright light.
DIM LIGHT
The soft light of twilight and dawn, or the boundary between bright light and darkness. Also called "shadows" or "lightly obscured." Most have disadvantage on perception checks in dim light.
DARKNESS
Heavily obscured. Characters face darkness outdoors at night (even most moonlit nights), within the confines of an unlit dungeon or a subterranean vault. Most are
blinded in darkness.
MAGICAL DARKNESS
Magically dark. Most are blinded in darkness.
VISION
DARK VISION
Those with dark vision treat dim light as bright light and treat nonmagical darkness as dim light.
DEVIL'S SIGHT
Those with devil's sight treat darkness and magical darkness as birght light.
TRUESIGHT
Always see normally out to the range of their truesight.
TREMORSENSE
While touching ground, truesight to others touching the ground, out to the range of their tremorsense.
BLINDSIGHT
Able to sense without vision, like the sonar of a bat.
DAYLIGHT SENSITIVITY
Creatures with this affliction treat bright light as others treat dim light.
