Martial classes are common in Harn:

• Barbarian
• Fighter
• Ranger
• Rogue

Divine classes must select a Religion and may select a 'fighting order' from that religion. Some religions are illegal in Kaldor.

• Cleric
• Druid
• Monk
• Paladin

Most arcane classes are illegal in Kaldor and must keep their skills secret, or be tried for witchcraft and put to death. Other kingdoms have differing levels of trust for arcane casters.

• Sorcerer
• Wizard
• Warlock

Bards are an exception to the hostility towards arcane casters. They are accepted by the people of Kaldor, thanks in good part to their reputation of neutral reporting of the events happening far away.
