Rekk’mar

Rekk’mar is an aging Jungle Troll covered in warpaint, bonedust and scars. He is a witch doctor by trade, a mender of ailments and wounds of both magical and physical origins, and a fervent prognosticator, an augur of future events and the destinies of newborns. He’s often followed by the scent of rosewater and herbs and speaks in public only rarely, unless his council is pertinent, whether welcome or not. Uncomfortable in cities or in the presence of strangers, Rekkmar spends most of his time in nature, often appearing to others when healing or guidance are needed before disappearing back into the wilds.

In truth, Rekk’mar is more than a simple healer. He is a seeker of knowledge and extractor of secrets; a spy of sorts, but not by subterfuge and guile. He is rather an acute empath, deeply connected to lingering spirits and a devout follower of several loas, who with enough time and patience can peer through the eyes of living creatures with the help of those otherworldly agents. This is the secret to his mysterious manifestations and sage knowledge. He is deeply committed to good, even when his actions are cruel or invasive, as well as the security of trollkind and the Horde.
