Personality: While her mannerism is typically proper, she is a bright and bubbly mage that tends to do things unconventionally for the pursuit of knowledge and always has a positive outlook. Though she does have a fiery personality that occasionally does come out. She is always traveling, studying, and training to learn about magic, history, and artifacts. When needed, Iridea has no hesitation going into the frontline of battle to help her allies and protect those that she loves and cares about with her life.

History: At a very young age, Iridea learned magic from her Grandfather, Barrister Riversong, as her parents were constantly away fulfilling their duties as a warrior and an Archmage. She lived with her parents until one night, their home was broken into and they were assassinated in front of the young Iridea. Unfortunately, the mysterious figure escaped before Barrister could get to the house on time to stop it. To console and protect Iridea from future harm from the unknown attackers, Barrister erased Iridea’s memory and sent her away into hiding so that she may continue to live a happy life. As she grew up, Iridea could not remember who her parents were or why she was sent to the family to live with another family in Eversong Woods.

When the woman who took care of her passed away due to illness, Iridea decided to take a journey and try to find out where she was from and exactly who she was. Sometime during her travels, she met Sswatchto along with a few other members from the Hand of Algalon. Quickly feeling at home with them, she decided to join and offer her services in the name of the Hand. As she climbing up the ranks within the Hand, eventually Sswatchto stated that she needed additional training and had assigned Barrister Riversong to train her. Iridea was skeptical of the old man at first, but quickly grew close to him when they met and had their first spar in Orgrimmar. Every day, she looked forward to her training with Master Barrister and looked up to her mentor greatly.

As time passed and certain events occurred, Barrister Riversong brought Iridea down to the Vault to (re)introduce her to Hermes. There, Barrister felt that it was time to reveal who she was, what had happened to her and why she was sent away. To assist with this, Barrister released the hold that was suppressing Iridea’s memories. Her parents. The first staff she received from her mother. Sitting on her Grandfather’s shoulders as they walked through the fields after practicing their magic. All of it till that fateful night when it was all taken away. She mourned for the lost time, but was also grateful that she was able to find her way to the Hand to reconnect with her family and herself again.

Afterwards, Iridea continued on with the Hand, seeing them as her family as she continued to rise, training, learning, and teaching others as well. Several years after serving the frontline, Iridea decided to take a step back and pursue more knowledge on a variety of subjects that may assist in protecting the Hand. With permission, Iridea set out on a quest to gain some of the knowledge that she was looking for.

Present:

After over five years of traveling, Iridea has returned back to Conquest Hold and ready to offer her services to the Hand and share the information that she had learned that may assist with the Hand and their members. Learning of the Hand's new adventures, she set out on the first ship out to help wherever she is needed. During this, she is enjoying reuniting with the members whom she fought alongside and making new connections with the ones that she is going on this new journey with.
